Nunko is a directory of links and public metadata. We do not store, rehost, or serve the copyrighted work itself. In almost all cases a valid notice is resolved by removing the listing that links to the material, rather than by taking down a hosted file, because there is no hosted file to take down. If you are the person depicted rather than the copyright owner, removal is faster and needs no proof — see content removal.

Filing a Notice

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at www.copyright.gov), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement reported to our designated agent above. If you believe your work has been infringed, please provide the agent with the following in writing:

• A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of them;
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it — typically the listing URL or the handle;
• Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as your name, address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address;
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notice

If a listing you control was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the designated agent above containing your physical or electronic signature, identification of the material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that it was removed in error, and your name, address, and telephone number together with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
